You cannot like in the past and you cannot like in the future, as any liking that you do you can only do in the present. This present is in eternity.

So when you like some past or you like some future, the like is always the same thing in the same place and of the one time.

It is only the object of like that changes and changes and yet always remains the same changing object in the presence of an eternal admirer. This is the Tao.
